Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) SC Ervilhais's Rafael Paredes started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Carlos Araújo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ricardo Delgado having to make a save. Carlos Araújo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 10thth minute, Ricardo Delgado skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Paulo Melo came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the SC Ervilhais fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulo Melo couldn't finish the play. Alexandre Bessa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Ricardo Delgado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SC Ervilhais's Ricardo Delgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandre Bessa in the 24th minute of play. Rafael Paredes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Óscar Campos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th minute, João Cabral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tolosa's goalkeeper Óscar Campos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Rafael Paredes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The wind increased when Alexandre Bessa made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Carlos Araújo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Delgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Catarino Amaral during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Catarino Amaral hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Alexandre Bessa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ricardo Delgado was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Tolosa's Óscar Campos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Tolosa from getting a goal against them. Rafael Paredes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Óscar Campos having to interfere. After some careless play in the SC Ervilhais defense, Alexandre Bessa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ricardo Delgado. The SC Ervilhais fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ricardo Delgado should have stopped the shot. Paulo Melo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Óscar Campos made a huge save. Óscar Campos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paulo Melo went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 84th minute Carlos Araújo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Delgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Alexandre Bessa came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Tolosa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexandre Bessa couldn't finish the play.
