In the 11th minute, Sérgio Coimbra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Carlos Araújo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Araújo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 19th minute Alexandre Bessa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduardo Moura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Alexandre Bessa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miravale's Eduardo Moura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandre Bessa in the 26th minute of play. Óscar Campos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from António Paredes in the 52nd minute of the match. Eduardo Moura made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Carlos Araújo sent off a good shot on target. Carlos Araújo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Moura having to interfere. Carlos Araújo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Eduardo Moura firmly grabbed it by the left post. The supporters of Miravale booed when Tolosa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduardo Andrade didn't get a good kick on the ball. 77 minutes into the game, Miravale's Cláudio Matias nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Óscar Campos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Tolosa's goalkeeper Óscar Campos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 87th minute, Ricardo Machado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
