Manuel Borba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simão Ramos in the 34th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, João Marques fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of João Anjos, passed just outside the right post. SC Vila's Manuel Borba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simão Ramos in the 43rd minute of play. João Marques might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over João Anjos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. João Marques ran back to his position shaking his head. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After a rather tough play, SC Vila's Artur Nunes got a free kick in the 51st minute. With a little luck, SC Vila's Manuel Borba got control of the ball when Simão Ramos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Manuel Borba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomás Miranda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Simão Ramos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Manuel Borba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Ossada FC's Manuel Borba threw himself towards the right post 59 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tomás Miranda, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Simão Ramos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Manuel Borba read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Filipe Fontes charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 71st play minute Simão Ramos came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Manuel Borba. 0-3. João Anjos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of João Marques's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. João Marques struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. João Anjos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Vila. SC Vila's Alberto Pinto got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 85th minute, João Marques got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ossada FC's Simão Ramos got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. João Marques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. João Anjos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The SC Vila supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ossada FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Ossada FC.
