Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Joel Viegas got the match started through his kick off. Joel Viegas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Borges having to interfere. In the 13th minute, Daniel Barros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Telhadas FC's André Antunes got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Inácio Viegas during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 17th minute, Inácio Viegas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19th minute, Carlos Cardoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Óscar Azevedo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 20th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for José Borges. SC Benagouro's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Armando Gomes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Jorge Carneiro made a huge save. When José Coimbra fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Benagouro's protests and gave José Coimbra a yellow card for diving instead. After 23 played minutes SC Benagouro got a freekick which was hit by José Coimbra. After some careless play in the SC Benagouro defense, André Antunes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of José Borges. The SC Benagouro fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that José Borges should have stopped the shot. In the 28th minute Joel Viegas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Borges saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. André Antunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling André Antunes in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck José Borges prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Telhadas FC's Jorge Carneiro got control of the ball when Armando Gomes tried to sneak it across the goal line. The SC Benagouro players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Telhadas FC were winning 0-1.

André Antunes succeeded in the game's 60th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Pereira in the 63rd minute of play forced Telhadas FC's goalkeeper Jorge Carneiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulo Pereira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eduardo Moniz kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Gomes in the 76th minute of play forced Telhadas FC's goalkeeper Jorge Carneiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in SC Benagouro's zone, Joel Viegas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Borges came out of the goal and Joel Viegas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. José Borges made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Viegas in the 94th minute of play. Joel Viegas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Telhadas FC played a much better game than SC Benagouro and deserved their victory. The SC Benagouro players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
