Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Joaquim Gaspar made the kick off and thus started the match. When Joaquim Gaspar came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Talhadas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joaquim Gaspar couldn't finish the play. When Fábio Fontes fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pinhote FC's protests and gave Fábio Fontes a yellow card for diving instead. In the 12th minute, Fábio Fontes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 13 minutes into the match, Pinhote FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquim Gaspar came free, but Cristiano Porto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joaquim Aguiar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lourenço Luz in the 16th minute of the match. After 17 played minutes Talhadas got a freekick which was hit by Vítor Domingues. The referee felt a red card was in order, 24 minutes into the game, when Alexandre Trindade put in a rough tackle. A collision led to Talhadas getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Alexandre Trindade hit a great ball. Paulo Pacheco missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 26 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Joaquim Aguiar right hand side. Pinhote FC's Lourenço Luz got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 31st minute, Bernardo Faro sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Talhadas's Joaquim Aguiar didn't even have to move. After 33 minutes, Vítor Domingues mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Talhadas and the Pinhote FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Vítor Domingues hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Joaquim Aguiar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Américo Vale, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. After having played for 37 minutes, Abel Dantas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Talhadas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abel Dantas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristiano Porto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vítor Domingues in the 38th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Pinhote FC defense, Abel Dantas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cristiano Porto. The Pinhote FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cristiano Porto should have stopped the shot.

The wind increased when Américo Vale made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filipe Borba in the 52nd minute of play forced Pinhote FC's goalkeeper Cristiano Porto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abel Dantas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Cristiano Porto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. José Monteiro struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Cristiano Porto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Talhadas. After a rather tough play, Talhadas's José Monteiro got a free kick in the 64th minute. Abel Dantas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Cristiano Porto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abel Dantas scored 2-0 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cristiano Porto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lourenço Luz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Joaquim Aguiar made a huge save. If Américo Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Talhadas's zone, Lourenço Luz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquim Aguiar came out of the goal and Lourenço Luz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joaquim Aguiar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Américo Vale, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. 97 minutes into the match, Abel Dantas notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Pinhote FC's Cristiano Porto. Cristiano Porto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. There was no doubt that Talhadas were the better team. Talhadas's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
