Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Paulo Ferreira started the match with the kick off. Rodrigo Cabral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delfim Bessa in the 3rd minute of the match. Luís Moreira spun around in front of the goal 7 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of SC Taloes's goal. Daniel Fonseca made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 8thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Vasco Moura would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. 10 minutes into the match, Chave's Luís Moreira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vasco Moura narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Vasco Moura made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Fonseca in the 11th minute. In the 16thth minute of the game Luís Moreira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Taloes's Vasco Moura was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rodrigo Cabral came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Taloes's Paulo Ferreira. But to his dismay, Paulo Ferreira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Delfim Bessa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Rodrigo Cabral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. José Luz kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Vasco Moura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Moreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Daniel Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Vasco Moura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 29 minutes, Vasco Moura successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Luís Moreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristóvão Assis during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 32nd match minute, Chave was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristóvão Assis to maneuver through the defense. Rodrigo Cabral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Ferreira in the 39th minute of the match. Rodrigo Cabral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delfim Bessa in the 43rd minute of play. 46 minutes into the game, Emílio Barbosa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chave's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Taloes the free kick. The SC Taloes fans' excitement grew in the 47th match minute when SC Taloes's Paulo Ferreira looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luís Moreira made a kick off. Vasco Moura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Moreira in the 53rd minute of play. After some careless play in the SC Taloes defense, Daniel Fonseca kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vasco Moura. The SC Taloes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vasco Moura should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Chave getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Emílio Barbosa hit a great ball. Vasco Moura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Fonseca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Delfim Bessa's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Rodrigo Cabral firmly grabbed it by the left post. Paulo Ferreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Cabral having to interfere. Vasco Moura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Moreira in the 69th minute of play. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Taloes's goalkeeper Vasco Moura, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 71st minute, Luís Moreira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Paulo Ferreira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rodrigo Cabral read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulo Ferreira in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rodrigo Cabral prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Delfim Bessa might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rodrigo Cabral. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Delfim Bessa ran back to his position shaking his head. Chave's Rodrigo Cabral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Ferreira in the 86th minute of play. Mariano Magalhães hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Vasco Moura came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Chave's Luís Moreira. But to his dismay, Luís Moreira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3.
