In the 15th minute, André Oliveira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Afonso Ribeiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Cansino's Rui Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Moura in the 18th minute of play. Filipe Azevedo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 21st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Afonso Ribeiro. Baralho FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Baralho FC's Sérgio Porto got a free kick in the 24th minute. Filipe Azevedo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 25th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Afonso Ribeiro. Baralho FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Cansino's Rui Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Moura in the 29th minute of play. Rodrigo Moura's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rui Cunha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Mariano Amaral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Cansino's André Oliveira in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Baralho FC's goalie prevented a goal. Rodrigo Moura received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rui Cunha came out and tried to block the shot, but Rodrigo Moura slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 42nd minute. After 47 minutes, Mariano Amaral mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cansino and the Baralho FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

A collision led to Cansino getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Mariano Amaral hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alberto Ferreira in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rui Cunha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bento Barbosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonso Ribeiro having to interfere. 68 minutes into the match, Cansino's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigo Moura came free, but Rui Cunha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Rodrigo Moura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bento Barbosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonso Ribeiro having to interfere. 85 minutes into the match, Cansino's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Ferreira came free, but Rui Cunha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alberto Ferreira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rui Cunha having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Cansino's zone, Rodrigo Moura stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rui Cunha came out of the goal and Rodrigo Moura tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rui Cunha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Ferreira in the 88th minute of the match. The Baralho FC fans' excitement grew in the 91st match minute when Baralho FC's Rodrigo Moura looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Rodrigo Moura scored 4-1 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rui Cunha, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when André Oliveira got free with Afonso Ribeiro in the 98th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cansino's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
