Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) SC Borreles's Humberto Queirós started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 4 played minutes, SC Borreles's Gaspar Azevedo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gil Vaz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SC Borreles reached it. The audience was convinced that Jorge Andrade's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gabriel Dias was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. In the 15th match minute, SC Abunheira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by António Guarda to maneuver through the defense. Jorge Andrade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Dias having to interfere. After having played for 29 minutes, João Soares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Abunheira's supporters crossed their fingers, but João Soares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Jorge Andrade managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Abunheira's supporters rose to their feet, but Jorge Andrade was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gabriel Dias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. António Guarda's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gabriel Dias read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Gil Vaz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Humberto Queirós, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Humberto Queirós received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Gil Vaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 45 played minutes SC Abunheira got a freekick which was hit by Gil Borges. SC Abunheira's Gil Vaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Humberto Queirós in the 47th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jorge Andrade to strike the kick off in the second half. Gil Vaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Humberto Queirós in the 52nd minute of play. Gil Borges's late challenge caught a SC Borreles's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gil Borges helped the player get up and apologised. Gil Borges hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Humberto Queirós in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gil Vaz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. André Teixeira struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Gil Vaz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Borreles. Gil Vaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Humberto Queirós in the 58th minute of the match. João Soares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Humberto Queirós managed to get in a good position for a shot. In the 70th minute, Gaspar Azevedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. João Soares struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Gabriel Dias didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Abunheira. In the 84th minute André Teixeira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gil Vaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Humberto Queirós sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gil Borges kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. SC Borreles's Gabriel Dias proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save SC Borreles from getting a goal against them. Humberto Queirós scored 2-1 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gil Vaz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
