With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gaspar Mota in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Heitor Luz saved Rigueira from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, André Almeida managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rigueira's supporters rose to their feet, but André Almeida was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. André Macedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 20 minutes into the match, Queimada FC's goal looked a bit too open when André Almeida came free, but André Macedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Queimada FC's André Macedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armindo Cunha in the 21st minute of play. Adolfo Leite succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 23rd playminute. If Gaspar Mota had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Heitor Luz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaspar Mota in the 31st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Adolfo Leite managed to get in a good position for a shot. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gaspar Mota made a kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Rigueira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Silva to maneuver through the defense. In the 54th minute, Adelino Nunes sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Rigueira's Heitor Luz didn't even have to move. André Almeida's late challenge caught a Queimada FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. André Almeida helped the player get up and apologised. After 56 played minutes Rigueira got a freekick which was hit by André Almeida. Rigueira's Heitor Luz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adolfo Leite in the 58th minute of play. If Armindo Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Rigueira's Lourenço Domingues got a free kick in the 61st minute. Heitor Luz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaspar Mota in the 62nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaspar Mota in the 66th minute of play forced Rigueira's goalkeeper Heitor Luz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Armindo Cunha struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. André Macedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rigueira. Adolfo Leite received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Heitor Luz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pedro Silva hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. The supporters of Rigueira booed when Queimada FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaspar Mota didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gaspar Mota fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Heitor Luz having to interfere. Rigueira's Armindo Cunha got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Armindo Cunha got free with André Macedo in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gaspar Mota kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. 88 minutes in the game, André Almeida fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without André Macedo having to interfere. Gaspar Mota sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adolfo Leite received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Heitor Luz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
