The referee ignored Ceivaes FC's protests and gave Eusébio Maia a yellow card for diving instead. Eusébio Maia hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Lucas Setúbal managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Sentieiras's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucas Setúbal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lucas Gaspar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sebastião Magalhães's late challenge caught a Ceivaes FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sebastião Magalhães helped the player get up and apologised. Sebastião Magalhães hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacinto Porto in the 17th minute of play forced SC Sentieiras's goalkeeper Álvaro Vaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th match minute, SC Sentieiras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Cardoso to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacinto Porto in the 19th minute of play forced SC Sentieiras's goalkeeper Álvaro Vaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Ceivaes FC's goalkeeper Lucas Gaspar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lucas Setúbal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Marques in the 24th minute of play forced SC Sentieiras's goalkeeper Álvaro Vaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Jacinto Porto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Álvaro Vaz was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. If Lucas Setúbal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th minute, Bento Ramos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rafael Marques took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Álvaro Vaz. Álvaro Vaz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. With an all-out effort, SC Sentieiras's Lucas Gaspar threw himself towards the right post 43 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bento Ramos, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jacinto Porto was the one to do the kick off. Ceivaes FC's Lucas Gaspar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bento Ramos in the 51st minute of play. Afonso Machado kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lucas Setúbal in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lucas Gaspar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Lucas Setúbal came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the SC Sentieiras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucas Setúbal couldn't finish the play. 59 minutes into the match, SC Sentieiras's goalkeeper Álvaro Vaz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rafael Marques. Jacinto Porto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lucas Setúbal in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lucas Gaspar saved Ceivaes FC from getting behind. In the 69th match minute, Ceivaes FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delfim Vaz to maneuver through the defense. SC Sentieiras's Lucas Setúbal got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lucas Setúbal in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lucas Gaspar saved Ceivaes FC from getting behind. Álvaro Vaz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rafael Marques in the 83rd minute. Lucas Setúbal might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lucas Gaspar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lucas Setúbal ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 97th minute, Jacinto Porto fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. When the final whistle went the supporters of Ceivaes FC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant SC Sentieiras side.
