Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Jorge Azevedo made the kick off which started today's match. After having played for 3 minutes, Vicente Monteiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brandiao FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vicente Monteiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A hard shot 10 in the game by Vicente Monteiro from a close distance when the talented David Amorim managed to make a qualified save. Insua FC's players were relieved. After a rather tough play, Brandiao FC's Carlos Vaz got a free kick in the 12th minute. Insua FC's David Amorim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Insua FC from getting a goal against them. 17 minutes into the game, Lucas Nascimento was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Insua FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brandiao FC the free kick. Insua FC's David Amorim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Insua FC from getting a goal against them. When José Torres came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Brandiao FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José Torres couldn't finish the play. José Torres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Amorim having to interfere. Diamantino Leiria hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute, Heitor Araújo made a precise shot to the right of Hugo Neves. Brandiao FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Hugo Neves came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Insua FC's Heitor Araújo. But to his dismay, Heitor Araújo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. The supporters of Brandiao FC booed when Insua FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucas Nascimento didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vicente Monteiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. José Torres was the one to do the kick off. 59 minutes into the game, Brandiao FC's José Torres nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. David Amorim made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. The supporters of Insua FC booed when Brandiao FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fábio Vale didn't get a good kick on the ball. Heitor Araújo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Hugo Neves made a huge save. Vicente Monteiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 69 minutes into the game, José Torres cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. David Amorim was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Vicente Monteiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Heitor Araújo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Neves having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Brandiao FC's zone, Heitor Araújo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hugo Neves came out of the goal and Heitor Araújo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hugo Neves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. David Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Torres in the 81st minute of play. Brandiao FC's Vicente Monteiro got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Insua FC's Fábio Rocha got a free kick in the 89th minute. Vicente Monteiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. David Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. José Torres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute.
