The audience was convinced that Luís Veiga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Henrique Rocha was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Paranho's goalkeeper Pedro Morais, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. David Barros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pedro Morais took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rui Martins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Morais made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Barros in the 48th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and David Barros made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oliveira Pereira in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Henrique Rocha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pedro Morais showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Mendes, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. 65 minutes into the match, Travassos FC's goalkeeper Henrique Rocha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luís Veiga. The referee gave Travassos FC a penalty, 93 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Luís Dias, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of SC Paranho's Pedro Morais. 2-0. Oliveira Pereira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
