When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Armindo Aleixo made a kick off. Jaime Barros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vítor Fernandes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Miguel Vieira fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bougado's protests and gave Miguel Vieira a yellow card for diving instead. After 56 played minutes Bougado got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Vieira. SC Mucelao's Vítor Fernandes got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 59 minutes into the match, Bougado's goal looked a bit too open when Armindo Aleixo came free, but Jaime Barros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The SC Mucelao fans' excitement grew in the 63rd match minute when SC Mucelao's Armindo Aleixo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
