Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) SC Alcanhoes's Afonso Freitas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of SC Alcanhoes booed when SC Silves was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Heitor Fontes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, SC Alcanhoes's Manuel Domingues tried to score from far away in the 10th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 15 minutes into the game, SC Silves's João Valente nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Afonso Moniz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. If Carlos Ribeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 23 minutes into the match, SC Silves's goal looked a bit too open when Afonso Freitas came free, but Albertino Leiria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luís Carvalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 30th minute of the match, Pedro Moniz got a very nice opportunity to score, but Albertino Leiria was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Hugo Cruz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Afonso Moniz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Albertino Leiria made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pedro Moniz in the 37th minute. In the 40th minute Afonso Freitas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albertino Leiria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If João Valente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 50th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Albertino Leiria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afonso Freitas in the 55th minute of the match. João Valente's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Afonso Moniz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. João Valente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonso Moniz having to interfere. 68 minutes into the game, Jorge Castro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Alcanhoes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Silves the free kick. After a rather tough play, SC Alcanhoes's Jorge Castro got a free kick in the 68th minute. When Cristóvão Baptista fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Silves's protests and gave Cristóvão Baptista a yellow card for diving instead. After 73 played minutes SC Silves got a freekick which was hit by Cristóvão Baptista. The audience held their breath when Filipe Pedroso in the 75th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Albertino Leiria's left hand side. Pedro Moniz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Afonso Freitas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Moniz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Albertino Leiria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Afonso Freitas in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Albertino Leiria saved SC Silves from getting behind. After having played for 93 minutes, Pedro Moniz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Alcanhoes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Moniz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Afonso Freitas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albertino Leiria having to interfere. A hard shot 98 in the game by Carlos Ribeiro from a close distance when the talented Afonso Moniz managed to make a qualified save. SC Alcanhoes's players were relieved. The SC Silves players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
