Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Cabomonte FC's Paulo Viana started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. António Assis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. António Assis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Dias having to interfere. With a little luck, SC Baiao's Mário Paiva got control of the ball when Duarte Araújo tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Duarte Araújo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 20 minutes into the match, SC Baiao's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Viana came free, but Mário Paiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute António Assis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Dias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulo Viana who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 24thth minute tested the skills of Mário Paiva when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 24th match minute, SC Baiao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Ferreira to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the SC Baiao defense, Paulo Viana kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mário Paiva. The SC Baiao fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mário Paiva should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, SC Baiao's Jorge Brás got a free kick in the 31st minute. Manuel Moniz hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Nuno Moreira took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Mário Paiva to make any attempt to save it. António Assis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When André Ferreira fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Baiao's protests and gave André Ferreira a yellow card for diving instead. Mário Paiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Viana in the 48th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. José Fernandes was the one to do the kick off. In the 64th match minute, Cabomonte FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Martins to maneuver through the defense. António Assis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but José Dias made a huge save. Mário Paiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Viana in the 72nd minute of the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Cabomonte FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 87th minute. Penalty! In the 92nd match minute, Cabomonte FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Viana to maneuver through the defense. 99 minutes into the match, SC Baiao's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Viana came free, but Mário Paiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Cabomonte FC had won after a very even match.
