In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Lafrana's goalkeeper Vicente Ribeiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. SC Lafrana's Vicente Ribeiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save SC Lafrana from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Moscoso booed when SC Lafrana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Afonso Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nuno Neves was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute Vítor Machado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente Ribeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Moscoso's goalkeeper Artur Pinheiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
