Carlos Barros started the match with the kick off. 6 minutes into the match, Salineiras FC's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Barros came free, but António Pedroso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Carlos Barros's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but António Pedroso was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. In the 11th minute, Gustavo Maia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. António Pedroso was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Alcarias's goalkeeper Alexandre Valente, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gabriel Borba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Alexandre Valente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 22 minutes into the game, Carlos Barros recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of António Pedroso. Carlos Barros showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. If Carlos Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Sérgio Bessa put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Alexandre Valente. If Gabriel Borba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gabriel Borba was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Gabriel Borba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandre Valente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlos Barros succeeded in the game's 54th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-1. When Raul Reis fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Alcarias's protests and gave Raul Reis a yellow card for diving instead. 59 minutes into the match, SC Alcarias's goalkeeper Alexandre Valente had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sérgio Bessa. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Borba in the 61st minute of play forced SC Alcarias's goalkeeper Alexandre Valente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Miguel Fernandes hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Gabriel Borba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Alexandre Valente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gabriel Borba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gabriel Borba in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alexandre Valente prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in SC Alcarias's zone, Sérgio Bessa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexandre Valente came out of the goal and Sérgio Bessa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Gustavo Maia came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the SC Alcarias fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustavo Maia couldn't finish the play. Álvaro Castro kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the match, SC Alcarias's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Borba came free, but Alexandre Valente reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. António Pedroso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo Maia in the 84th minute of the match. Gabriel Borba struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Alexandre Valente didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Salineiras FC. Carlos Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
