Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Alberto Abreu got the match started through his kick off. Amadeu Borba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Abreu in the 6th minute of play forced Pataeiro FC's goalkeeper Viriato Lopes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amadeu Borba struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Viriato Lopes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Cavez. After having played for 9 minutes, Pedro Setúbal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pataeiro FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Setúbal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 11thth minute of the game Alberto Abreu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pataeiro FC's Viriato Lopes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Viriato Lopes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Abreu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Gustavo Alves fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pataeiro FC's protests and gave Gustavo Alves a yellow card for diving instead. In the 14th match minute, Pataeiro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustavo Alves to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, Pataeiro FC's Lúcio Matos threw himself towards the right post 17 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Oliveira Pereira, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Lúcio Matos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oliveira Pereira in the 19th minute of play. SC Cavez's Lúcio Matos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oliveira Pereira in the 21st minute of play. In the 25th minute, Amadeu Borba got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 27 minutes into the match, SC Cavez's Alberto Abreu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Viriato Lopes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Oliveira Pereira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lúcio Matos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. In the 35th minute, João Fernandes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pataeiro FC's Viriato Lopes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amadeu Borba in the 40th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Alberto Abreu managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Cavez's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Abreu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Viriato Lopes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oliveira Pereira in the 60th minute of play forced SC Cavez's goalkeeper Lúcio Matos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lúcio Matos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oliveira Pereira in the 64th minute of the match. Viriato Lopes made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Amadeu Borba sent off a good shot on target. Gustavo Bessa kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Amadeu Borba was extremely unlucky when he, in the 76th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The crowd rose to their feet as SC Cavez's Alberto Abreu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Viriato Lopes. That made the score 0-2 after 76 minutes of play. In the 89th minute, Oliveira Pereira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lúcio Matos was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 92nd match minute, SC Cavez was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Fernandes to maneuver through the defense. 95 minutes into the match, Oliveira Pereira notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of SC Cavez's Lúcio Matos. Lúcio Matos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
