The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Lúcio Matos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Rocha in the 4th minute of the match. A collision led to SC Cavez getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Alberto Abreu hit a great ball. After having played for 10 minutes, João Figueiredo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Revezes FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but João Figueiredo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Revezes FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Alexandre Neves hit a great ball. After having played for 23 minutes, José Rocha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Revezes FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but José Rocha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Revezes FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 29th minute, when Alberto Abreu scored to the left of an out of position Gaspar Delgado, making the score, 1-0. After 42 played minutes Revezes FC got a freekick which was hit by José Rocha. Lúcio Matos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Figueiredo in the 45th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. João Figueiredo was the one to do the kick off. Oliveira Valente kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Nuno Baptista hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. After having played for 61 minutes, Lucas Carvalho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Revezes FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucas Carvalho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If João Figueiredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 77 minutes, Sebastião Barbosa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Cavez's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastião Barbosa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 82nd minute, Amadeu Borba got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Alberto Abreu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 90 minutes of play, SC Cavez's Amadeu Borba made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gaspar Delgado was left in no man's land by his defense there! João Fernandes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Gaspar Delgado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SC Cavez were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Revezes FC for a fine match.
