In the 10thth minute of the game Fábio Fernandes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Franzilhal's Delfim Lisboa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Amílcar Leão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rui Leiria in the 15th minute of the match. In the 15th match minute, Pecene FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nuno Macedo to maneuver through the defense. Pecene FC's Amílcar Leão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basílio Vaz in the 17th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rui Leiria in the 18th minute of play forced Pecene FC's goalkeeper Amílcar Leão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes in the game, Fábio Fernandes fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Delfim Lisboa having to interfere. Nuno Macedo succeeded in the game's 29th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. In the 32nd minute, Fábio Fernandes fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. If Fábio Fernandes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Basílio Vaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 43 played minutes Pecene FC got a freekick which was hit by Filipe Alves. Basílio Vaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Joel Nunes ran back to his position shaking his head. Fábio Fernandes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 56 minutes into the match, SC Franzilhal's Basílio Vaz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amílcar Leão narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fábio Fernandes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Delfim Lisboa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joel Nunes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Delfim Lisboa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. Rui Leiria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rui Leiria made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 70thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Amílcar Leão would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Basílio Araújo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amílcar Leão having to interfere. SC Franzilhal's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
