Luís Coelho showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luís Coelho during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 40th match minute, Ganilhos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Coelho to maneuver through the defense. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 53rd minute Pedro Soares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Andrade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69th minute, Henrique Paredes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pedro Soares struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Alfredo Andrade didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Povoeiras FC. Alexandre Miranda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Andrade having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrique Paredes in the 84th minute of play forced Povoeiras FC's goalkeeper Vítor Gomes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 88 minutes in the game, Mariano Simões dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. After 94 minutes, Alexandre Miranda mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Povoeiras FC and the Ganilhos players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alexandre Miranda kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match.
