Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Basílio Coelho took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 8th minute Tiago Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquim Moura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 9 played minutes SC Bouxinhas got a freekick which was hit by Mariano Barbosa. With his leg Rui Henriques managed to avoid a goal in the 14thth minute, when SC Bouxinhas's Gabriel Matos fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Tiago Castro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Joaquim Moura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Funchosa booed when SC Bouxinhas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mariano Barbosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gabriel Matos got free with Rui Henriques in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 28 minutes of play, SC Bouxinhas's Gabriel Matos made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rui Henriques was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Funchosa's zone, Gabriel Matos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rui Henriques came out of the goal and Gabriel Matos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 39 minutes, Basílio Coelho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Bouxinhas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Basílio Coelho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carlos Martins made a kick off. If Carlos Martins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Basílio Coelho in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rui Henriques prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 58 minutes into the match, SC Bouxinhas's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Martins came free, but Joaquim Moura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 62 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Funchosa! Basílio Coelho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Rui Henriques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rui Henriques showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Matos in the 70th minute of the match. Gabriel Matos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rui Henriques having to interfere. In the 75th minute, Basílio Coelho made a precise shot to the right of Rui Henriques. Funchosa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tiago Castro got free with Joaquim Moura in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 87th minute Gabriel Matos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rui Henriques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Mariano Barbosa was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 94 minutes had been played. A collision led to SC Bouxinhas getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Mariano Barbosa hit a great ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The SC Bouxinhas fans cheered their team off the field, for while Funchosa had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
