André Amaro scored 0-1 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rodrigo Miranda, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rodrigo Miranda made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. When Carlos Pinho came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Vimieiro FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Pinho couldn't finish the play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for André Amaro to strike the kick off in the second half. Tropeco's Diogo Teixeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Óscar Bessa in the 53rd minute of play. Óscar Bessa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diogo Teixeira having to interfere. In the 58th minute Carlos Pinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diogo Teixeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If André Amaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62nd minute of the match Rui Abreu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Diogo Teixeira showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Alexandre Esteves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rodrigo Miranda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from André Amaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Vimieiro FC's Rodrigo Miranda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Vimieiro FC from getting a goal against them. Tropeco's Alexandre Esteves got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 77 minutes into the game, Rogério Cruz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rodrigo Miranda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 81 minutes into the match, Vimieiro FC's goal looked a bit too open when André Amaro came free, but Rodrigo Miranda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Jorge Miranda fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tropeco's protests and gave Jorge Miranda a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Tropeco getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Jorge Miranda hit a great ball. Diogo Teixeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Óscar Bessa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 86thth minute of the game Óscar Bessa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tropeco's Diogo Teixeira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. André Amaro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rodrigo Miranda read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. Bruno Santos kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Alexandre Esteves came free with the goalkeeper in the 94th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Rodrigo Miranda could save by the left post. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Tropeco walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
