Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Nuno Guarda got the match started through his kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gil Carvalho in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Diamantino Brito saved Freigil FC from getting behind. Diamantino Brito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adelino Paredes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Tougues's Adelino Paredes in 9 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Diamantino Brito guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Mário Almeida came free with the goalkeeper in the 11th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Emílio Viegas could save by the left post. In the 12th minute, Nuno Guarda fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Emílio Viegas, passed just outside the right post. In the 21st minute, Gil Carvalho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Diamantino Brito was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Diamantino Brito came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Tougues's Adelino Paredes. But to his dismay, Adelino Paredes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Freigil FC were awarded a corner in the 34th minute after Tougues's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Manuel Porto took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Manuel Porto got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Emílio Viegas quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After some careless play in the Tougues defense, Alberto Moura kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emílio Viegas. The Tougues fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emílio Viegas should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Tougues getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Américo Antunes hit a great ball. Gil Carvalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Adelino Paredes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Tougues were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gil Carvalho to strike the kick off in the second half. After 57 minutes of play, Tougues's Adelino Paredes made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Diamantino Brito was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gil Carvalho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Diamantino Brito read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Alberto Moura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Emílio Viegas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nuno Guarda in the 73rd minute of play. After 74 played minutes Tougues got a freekick which was hit by Américo Antunes. Alberto Moura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emílio Viegas having to interfere. Tougues's Emílio Viegas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nuno Guarda in the 79th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amadeu Sá during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 80th match minute, Tougues was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amadeu Sá to maneuver through the defense. Nuno Guarda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adelino Paredes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gil Carvalho charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gil Carvalho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Freigil FC booed when Tougues was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gil Carvalho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alberto Moura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Emílio Viegas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 94 minutes into the match, Alberto Moura had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emílio Viegas. Tougues's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alberto Moura was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. The Tougues supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Tougues would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
