Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Afonso Machado got the match started through his kick off. The supporters of SC Marvoes booed when Bocado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Vieira didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 11th minute of the match, Diogo Branco got a very nice opportunity to score, but Lúcio Setúbal was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 11th match minute, SC Marvoes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Pacheco to maneuver through the defense. In the 12th minute Afonso Machado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lúcio Setúbal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nuno Queirós received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Cristóvão Fontes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Nuno Queirós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 31st minute of the game. One of SC Marvoes:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Bocado:s goal. In the 32nd minute, Bocado got a penalty, and Rafael Amorim placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. With a little luck, SC Marvoes's Lúcio Setúbal got control of the ball when Diogo Branco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nuno Queirós sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 39 minutes, Afonso Machado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bocado's supporters crossed their fingers, but Afonso Machado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 40th minute, Simão Delgado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Afonso Machado in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lúcio Setúbal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nuno Queirós was the one to do the kick off. Joel Resende charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joel Resende the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Bocado's Joel Resende got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the 56th minute, Bruno Macedo made a precise shot to the right of Cristóvão Fontes. Bocado's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After 65 minutes of play, Bocado's Diogo Branco made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lúcio Setúbal was left in no man's land by his defense there! 69 minutes into the match, Bocado's goal looked a bit too open when Nuno Queirós came free, but Cristóvão Fontes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diogo Branco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, SC Marvoes's Simão Delgado got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Lúcio Setúbal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diogo Branco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lúcio Setúbal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diogo Branco in the 81st minute of the match. In the 83rd minute of the match Filipe Queirós sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cristóvão Fontes skillfully saved the ball. André Pacheco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristóvão Fontes having to interfere. With his leg Cristóvão Fontes managed to avoid a goal in the 89thth minute, when SC Marvoes's Bruno Macedo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Nuno Queirós came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the SC Marvoes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nuno Queirós couldn't finish the play. Nuno Queirós's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristóvão Fontes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. In the 94th minute, Mário Leal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
