Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alexandre Matos started the match with the kick off. Adelino Gonçalves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Vermoeira's Hugo Matos got control of the ball when Joaquim Faro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Álvaro Nogueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Armindo Campos hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. 31 minutes into the game, Vermoeira's Álvaro Nogueira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alexandre Moura made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Joaquim Faro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rechousa's supporters rose to their feet, but Joaquim Faro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hugo Matos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 47 played minutes Vermoeira got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Morais. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adelino Gonçalves made a kick off. A collision led to Rechousa getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Fábio Rodrigues hit a great ball. After 59 minutes Vermoeira's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Armindo Campos who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Rechousa's corner Armindo Campos fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Hugo Matos quite easily take care of the ball. Adelino Gonçalves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandre Moura having to interfere. Alexandre Moura made an important save on a dangerous shot by Álvaro Nogueira in the 63rd minute. After 64 played minutes Rechousa got a freekick which was hit by Fábio Rodrigues. When Adelino Gonçalves came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Vermoeira fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adelino Gonçalves couldn't finish the play. With an all-out effort, Vermoeira's Alexandre Moura threw himself towards the right post 67 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Adelino Gonçalves, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adelino Gonçalves in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alexandre Moura saved Rechousa from getting behind. In the 77th minute, Joaquim Faro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hugo Matos was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. The audience was convinced that Alexandre Matos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hugo Matos was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. When Joaquim Faro came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Rechousa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joaquim Faro couldn't finish the play. 88 minutes into the game, Alexandre Matos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Hugo Matos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hugo Matos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandre Matos in the 92nd minute of play. If Alexandre Matos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Rechousa had won after a very even match.
