Mariano Lima's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hugo Matos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. If Adelino Gonçalves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. André Cabral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adelino Gonçalves in the 11th minute of play. Ricardo Baptista's late challenge caught a Padroso FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ricardo Baptista helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Vermoeira getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Ricardo Baptista hit a great ball. In the 19th minute, Hélder Leão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adelino Gonçalves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. André Cabral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. David Santarém struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Hugo Matos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Padroso FC. Hugo Matos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lima, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. If Catarino Reis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mariano Lima blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hugo Matos having to make a save. If David Santarém had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 35th minute Mariano Lima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Matos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Álvaro Nogueira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. André Cabral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Álvaro Nogueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mariano Lima to make the kick off. Álvaro Nogueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. André Cabral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 54 minutes of play, Vermoeira's Álvaro Nogueira made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. André Cabral was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Adelino Gonçalves in the 59th minute of play forced Padroso FC's goalkeeper André Cabral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Álvaro Nogueira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but André Cabral read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Mariano Lima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Hugo Matos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Padroso FC's André Cabral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adelino Gonçalves in the 71st minute of play. Álvaro Nogueira's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 73rdth minute, André Cabral skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 80 minutes into the game, Alexandre Miranda was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Padroso FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vermoeira the free kick. In the 80th match minute, Padroso FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandre Miranda to maneuver through the defense. Adelino Gonçalves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. André Cabral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adelino Gonçalves in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck André Cabral prevented the ball from getting in the gole. André Cabral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Álvaro Nogueira in the 90th minute of the match. Catarino Reis kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Adelino Gonçalves struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. André Cabral didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vermoeira. André Cabral came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Vermoeira's Álvaro Nogueira. But to his dismay, Álvaro Nogueira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Vermoeira walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
