Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Vítor Barbosa made the kick off which started today's match. Lucas Leiria scored 0-1 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cláudio Jesus, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cristóvão Resende fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cláudio Jesus having to interfere. Lucas Leiria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ricardo Pinto stood somewhat misplaced when Filipe Almeida came free in front of goal and shot 1-1 to the left of him in the 20 minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristóvão Resende in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cláudio Jesus saved Lousa from getting behind. Lucas Leiria blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cláudio Jesus having to make a save. The supporters of Ribeirinho FC booed when Lousa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rui Coelho didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 28 played minutes, Ribeirinho FC's Abel Carneiro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cláudio Jesus came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ribeirinho FC reached it. Cláudio Jesus came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Ribeirinho FC's Lucas Leiria. But to his dismay, Lucas Leiria quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filipe Almeida in the 37th minute of play forced Ribeirinho FC's goalkeeper Ricardo Pinto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Basílio Barbosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Cláudio Jesus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Alexandre Pinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cláudio Jesus stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lucas Leiria's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Vítor Barbosa took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Ricardo Pinto to make any attempt to save it.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cristóvão Resende made a kick off. Vítor Barbosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Ricardo Pinto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vítor Barbosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ricardo Pinto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filipe Almeida in the 58th minute of the match. If Filipe Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vítor Barbosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Pinto having to interfere. The supporters of Ribeirinho FC booed when Lousa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. António Porto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vítor Barbosa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ribeirinho FC's goalkeeper Ricardo Pinto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 74th match minute, Ribeirinho FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Basílio Barbosa to maneuver through the defense. Filipe Almeida sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bento Esteves's late challenge caught a Lousa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bento Esteves helped the player get up and apologised. 81 minutes into the match, Ribeirinho FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vítor Barbosa came free, but Ricardo Pinto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Filipe Almeida came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Lousa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filipe Almeida couldn't finish the play. Pedro Jesus hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
