But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that António Henriques couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Codeceira FC's Afonso Leal got a free kick in the 29th minute. A collision led to Codeceira FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Álvaro Viana hit a great ball. In the 68th minute, one of Codeceira FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Codeceira FC. The referee gave Fradeira a penalty, 70 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Luís Faro, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Codeceira FC's Catarino Correia. 1-3. Fradeira's Fábio Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duarte Dantas in the 76th minute of play. The referee ignored Codeceira FC's protests and gave Artur Branco a yellow card for diving instead. In the 86th minute, Abel Guerreiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
