Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Pedro Moreira took the kick off in the first half of the match. Rodrigo Viegas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nuno Pinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. In the 7thth minute of the game Eusébio Ramos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Baleal's Rodrigo Viegas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Amadeu Silva kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. SC Abelhal's Eusébio Ramos got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 14 minutes into the match, Óscar Pires notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of SC Abelhal's Filipe Cruz. Filipe Cruz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 18th match minute, SC Abelhal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Rocha to maneuver through the defense. After 19 played minutes, SC Baleal's Jacinto Leite shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Filipe Cruz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SC Baleal reached it. In the 19th match minute, SC Abelhal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Assunção to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Óscar Pires managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Baleal's supporters rose to their feet, but Óscar Pires was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filipe Cruz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eusébio Ramos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rodrigo Viegas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusébio Ramos in the 32nd minute of play. In the 36th minute, SC Abelhal's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Óscar Pires fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Nuno Pinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some careless play in the SC Abelhal defense, Óscar Pires kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Filipe Cruz. The SC Abelhal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Filipe Cruz should have stopped the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Filipe Cruz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Moreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Óscar Pires sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Nuno Pinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eusébio Ramos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Catarino Neves hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Rodrigo Viegas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nuno Pinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of SC Abelhal booed when SC Baleal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Catarino Neves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pedro Moreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Filipe Cruz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Abelhal's goalkeeper Filipe Cruz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Óscar Pires struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Filipe Cruz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Baleal. An unexpected shot in the 83rd minute by Eusébio Ramos got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Nuno Pinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Moreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Filipe Cruz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eusébio Ramos who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 94thth minute tested the skills of Rodrigo Viegas when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Eusébio Ramos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rodrigo Viegas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. SC Abelhal's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
