The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd match minute, Teixugueiras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eusébio Coelho to maneuver through the defense. Manuel Neto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oliveira Neves in the 29th minute of play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Oliveira Neves to make the kick off. The supporters of Teixugueiras booed when SC Bosturenga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eusébio Coelho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manuel Neto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oliveira Neves in the 61st minute of the match. After 62 minutes, Afonso Ferreira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Bosturenga and the Teixugueiras players grew even worse after the yellow card. Oliveira Neves scored 1-3 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Manuel Neto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Manuel Neto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Lima in the 68th minute of play. João Torres charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed João Torres the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 73 played minutes Teixugueiras got a freekick which was hit by João Torres. When Delfim Carvalho, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 76 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Bernardo Torres was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The supporters of SC Bosturenga booed when Teixugueiras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaspar Cruz didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delfim Carvalho in the 80th minute of play forced Teixugueiras's goalkeeper Bernardo Torres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernardo Torres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afonso Ferreira in the 89th minute of the match. A collision led to Teixugueiras getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Gaspar Cruz hit a great ball. Bernardo Torres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delfim Carvalho in the 92nd minute of play. Oliveira Neves's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Manuel Neto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. Oliveira Neves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Neto having to interfere. SC Bosturenga's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
