Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rogério Guarda started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Frechao FC's João Costa got a free kick in the 3rd minute. In the 8th minute Rogério Guarda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nuno Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 11 minutes into the match, Frechao FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Figueiredo came free, but Gabriel Reis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Heitor Borba blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gabriel Reis having to make a save. In the 14th minute, Jorge Figueiredo made a precise shot to the right of Gabriel Reis. Frechao FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. If Rogério Guarda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 29 minutes into the match, Cabecinhas FC's Jorge Figueiredo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gabriel Reis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gabriel Sá who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 30thth minute tested the skills of Nuno Cunha when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Nuno Cunha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rogério Guarda, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Cabecinhas FC's zone, Rogério Guarda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nuno Cunha came out of the goal and Rogério Guarda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 38 minutes into the match, Frechao FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Figueiredo came free, but Gabriel Reis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Heitor Borba blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gabriel Reis having to make a save. Nuno Cunha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rogério Guarda's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. 43 minutes into the match, Cabecinhas FC's goalkeeper Nuno Cunha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gabriel Sá. The Frechao FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cabecinhas FC were winning 0-2.

In the 53rd minute, Heitor Borba left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cabecinhas FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 58th minute, Cabecinhas FC's Carlos Abreu seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Carlos Abreu the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Cabecinhas FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Carlos Abreu had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 57 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Cabecinhas FC! 68 minutes into the game, Álvaro Santarém was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cabecinhas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Frechao FC the free kick. A collision led to Cabecinhas FC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Álvaro Santarém hit a great ball. Gabriel Sá sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rogério Guarda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 78th minute Gabriel Sá shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nuno Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rogério Guarda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nuno Cunha having to interfere. In the 91st minute of the match Gustavo Mota sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nuno Cunha skillfully saved the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Rogério Guarda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Frechao FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rogério Guarda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nuno Cunha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gabriel Sá took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nuno Cunha. Nuno Cunha dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Cabecinhas FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
