Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Raul Vaz started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Ricardo Magalhãess short, quick shot in the 5thth minute got Gaspar Matias to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 7 minutes into the match, Lapa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vicente Leiria came free, but Duarte Fontes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, SC Canidelo's Gaspar Matias got control of the ball when Ricardo Magalhães tried to sneak it across the goal line. SC Canidelo's Gaspar Matias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Dantas in the 10th minute of play. In the 12th minute, Jorge Cabral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 12 minutes into the match, SC Canidelo's António Faro broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Vicente Leiria put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Duarte Fontes. In the 23rd minute, Emílio Queirós got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, SC Canidelo's Eduardo Magalhães got a free kick in the 24th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Vicente Leiria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duarte Fontes having to interfere. Lapa FC's Emílio Queirós got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Raul Vaz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 60 played minutes SC Canidelo got a freekick which was hit by Eduardo Magalhães. Emílio Queirós received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Gaspar Matias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 64 minutes into the match, SC Canidelo's goal looked a bit too open when Emílio Queirós came free, but Gaspar Matias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 65 minutes into the match, SC Canidelo's Vicente Leiria sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Duarte Fontes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of SC Canidelo booed when Lapa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xavier Reis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paulo Branco charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paulo Branco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to SC Canidelo getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Paulo Branco hit a great ball. 73 minutes into the game, one of SC Canidelo:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 75 minutes into the game, Eduardo Magalhães was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Canidelo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lapa FC the free kick. In the 75th match minute, SC Canidelo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduardo Magalhães to maneuver through the defense. After 78 minutes of play SC Canidelo's Paulo Branco was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Emílio Queirós struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Gaspar Matias didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lapa FC. 83 minutes into the game, Vicente Leiria cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Duarte Fontes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 92nd minute Ricardo Magalhães shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaspar Matias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 94 minutes, Nuno Melo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lapa FC and the SC Canidelo players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 95th minute, Nuno Melo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 97 minutes in the game Nuno Silva after having made a beautiful turn got a great opportunity to score and fired away a shot that went just to the left past a relieved Duarte Fontes. A very good opportunity. Vicente Leiria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched SC Canidelo eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
