The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bruno Moutinho to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bruno Moutinho in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg André Branco saved Assento FC from getting behind. André Branco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 73 minutes into the match, Assento FC's António Leal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alexandre Marques narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Macida FC's Bruno Moutinho in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Assento FC's goalie prevented a goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Macida FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
