Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Afonso Ribeiro started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Gustavo Aguiar's late challenge caught a SC Bente's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gustavo Aguiar helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of SC Bente booed when Varsea was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustavo Aguiar didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 5th minute of the match, Duarte Correia got a very nice opportunity to score, but Carlos Resende was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Manuel Brás kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Afonso Ribeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Vítor Trindade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Afonso Ribeiro in the 27th minute of play forced SC Bente's goalkeeper Vítor Trindade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, David Resende managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Bente's supporters rose to their feet, but David Resende was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlos Resende breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. David Resende's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlos Resende read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. When David Resende came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the SC Bente fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that David Resende couldn't finish the play. If Afonso Ribeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Duarte Correia came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the SC Bente fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Duarte Correia couldn't finish the play. In the 46th play minute Duarte Correia came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Carlos Resende. 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell David Resende to make the kick off. Vítor Trindade didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Afonso Ribeiro went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Vítor Trindade didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 66th minute, which inside left pole to 1-2. Vítor Trindade made an important save on a dangerous shot by José Nunes in the 72nd minute. José Nunes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Vítor Trindade when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Duarte Correia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Resende having to interfere. Duarte Correia might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carlos Resende. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Duarte Correia ran back to his position shaking his head. 87 minutes into the match, Varsea's goal looked a bit too open when David Resende came free, but Carlos Resende reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vítor Trindade stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Afonso Ribeiro's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. Vítor Trindade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afonso Ribeiro in the 92nd minute of play. David Resende received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Carlos Resende tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
