Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Luís Pinho started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When Luís Pinho came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Sandelgas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Pinho couldn't finish the play. After having played for 6 minutes, Luís Pinho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sandelgas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luís Pinho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luís Pinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Gustavo Queirós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 12 minutes into the game, Sandelgas's Luís Pinho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Francisco Abreu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. If Francisco Vaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amílcar Fontes made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Mariano Nascimento sent off a good shot on target. Gustavo Queirós sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adelino Coelho kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the game, Francisco Vaz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Amílcar Fontes. Francisco Vaz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. With a little luck, Sandelgas's Amílcar Fontes got control of the ball when Mariano Nascimento tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, SC Toninha's Diogo Faria got a free kick in the 38th minute. In the 40th minute, Luís Pinho made a precise shot to the right of Francisco Abreu. SC Toninha's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. SC Toninha's Francisco Abreu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Pinho in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Francisco Vaz made a kick off. Augusto Andrade kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Luís Pinho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sandelgas's supporters rose to their feet, but Luís Pinho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Francisco Abreu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Sandelgas getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. André Vale hit a great ball. A collision led to SC Toninha getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Fernando Queirós hit a great ball. André Vale, 63 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Alexandre Magalhães kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, Mariano Nascimento had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Amílcar Fontes. Sandelgas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mariano Nascimento was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luís Pinho in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Francisco Abreu saved SC Toninha from getting behind. 85 minutes into the match, Sandelgas's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Nascimento came free, but Amílcar Fontes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 87th play minutes Mariano Nascimento shot 3-2, a short shot which went by Amílcar Fontes and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 91st minute Alexandre Magalhães shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amílcar Fontes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 92 minutes into the game, Francisco Vaz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Amílcar Fontes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Sandelgas's zone, Francisco Vaz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amílcar Fontes came out of the goal and Francisco Vaz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. SC Toninha's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
