Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Subportela FC's André Macedo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Nuno Gonçalves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nuno Gonçalves scored 0-1 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Daniel Teixeira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Abel Vaz came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the SC Deveza fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abel Vaz couldn't finish the play. If Abel Vaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Cláudio Sousa managed to avoid a goal in the 17thth minute, when Subportela FC's André Marques fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. André Marques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cláudio Sousa having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abel Vaz in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Daniel Teixeira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. SC Deveza's Cláudio Sousa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save SC Deveza from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Subportela FC's André Macedo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cláudio Sousa. That made the score 1-1 after 30 minutes of play. Daniel Teixeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel Vaz in the 34th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nuno Gonçalves in the 38th minute of play forced Subportela FC's goalkeeper Daniel Teixeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 38 minutes, Albertino Araújo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Subportela FC and the SC Deveza players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 39 played minutes Subportela FC got a freekick which was hit by Albertino Araújo. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nuno Gonçalves to make the kick off. Cristiano Setúbal scored 2-1 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cláudio Sousa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Eusébio Brás, 62 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Cláudio Sousa came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Subportela FC's André Macedo. But to his dismay, André Macedo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. If André Marques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 70 minutes, Afonso Tavares mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Subportela FC and the SC Deveza players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nuno Gonçalves in the 71st minute of play forced Subportela FC's goalkeeper Daniel Teixeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abel Vaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Daniel Teixeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abel Vaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Subportela FC's goalkeeper Daniel Teixeira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. André Macedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 85th minute of the game. One of SC Deveza:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Subportela FC:s goal. The referee gave Subportela FC a penalty, 88 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Afonso Paiva, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of SC Deveza's Cláudio Sousa. 4-1. After 92 played minutes SC Deveza got a freekick which was hit by Alexandre Paiva. If André Marques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. SC Deveza's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
