Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Carvalhosa FC's Cristiano Esteves started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jacinto Araújo during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Carvalhosa FC's Jacinto Araújo got a free kick in the 7th minute. Miguel Santos struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Alberto Azevedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Devezas FC. 13 minutes into the match, Carvalhosa FC's goal looked a bit too open when José Garcia came free, but Alberto Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alberto Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Garcia in the 14th minute of the match. When Devezas FC's Luís Maia in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Carvalhosa FC's goalie prevented a goal. Alberto Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Maia in the 17th minute of play. Cristiano Esteves blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Xavier Guarda having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Cristiano Esteves managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carvalhosa FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristiano Esteves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xavier Guarda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 27 minutes into the match, Carvalhosa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Maia came free, but Alberto Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. José Garcia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Xavier Guarda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristiano Esteves, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Xavier Guarda didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bento Pinto went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luís Maia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Carlos Marques hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Xavier Guarda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bento Pinto in the 59th minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Miguel Santos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 64th minute Bento Pinto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xavier Guarda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tiago Abreu's late challenge caught a Carvalhosa FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tiago Abreu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 68th match minute, Devezas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiago Abreu to maneuver through the defense. If Cristiano Esteves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 74 minutes into the game, Cristiano Esteves cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Xavier Guarda was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Carvalhosa FC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Carlos Marques hit a great ball. Bento Pinto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Manuel Martins charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Manuel Martins the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fernando Abreu walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Luís Maia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Azevedo having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Cristiano Esteves made a precise shot to the right of Xavier Guarda. Devezas FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. After having played for 98 minutes, Bento Pinto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carvalhosa FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bento Pinto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
