Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Cristiano Esteves got the match started through his kick off. After a rather tough play, Milharado's Paulo Vaz got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Bento Pinto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vasco Esteves having to interfere. When Cristiano Esteves came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Carvalhosa FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristiano Esteves couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristiano Esteves in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vasco Esteves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bento Pinto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cristiano Esteves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Vasco Esteves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, Cristiano Esteves notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Milharado's Vasco Esteves. Vasco Esteves was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Vicente Maia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Azevedo having to interfere. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Milharado's goalkeeper Vasco Esteves, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 39thth minute of the game Cristiano Esteves who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Milharado's Vasco Esteves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Cristiano Esteves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 45 minutes into the match, Carvalhosa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Cardoso came free, but Alberto Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pedro Cardoso to make the kick off. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jacinto Araújo's late challenge caught a Milharado's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jacinto Araújo helped the player get up and apologised. Pedro Cardoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out.
