Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Luís Leiria started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 4 minutes into the match, Gondenhais's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Leiria came free, but Carlos Lisboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 7 minutes, Vítor Rodrigues managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arrotea's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vítor Rodrigues was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Diamantino Moniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gondenhais's Alfredo Gaspar got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hugo Jesus struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Carlos Lisboa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arrotea. 22 minutes into the match, Arrotea's Vítor Rodrigues sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carlos Lisboa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 24th minute, Alfredo Gaspar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gondenhais fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Alfredo Gaspar struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Henrique Pinheiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gondenhais. Alfredo Gaspar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 42nd match minute, Gondenhais was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Moura to maneuver through the defense. Vítor Rodrigues recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alfredo Gaspar to strike the kick off in the second half. Óscar Morais lost his temper 52 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 51st minute, one of Arrotea:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Arrotea. In the 57th minute, Fernando Pinheiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Arrotea's goalkeeper Henrique Pinheiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Filipe Paredes during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A hard shot 65 in the game by Diamantino Moniz from a close distance when the talented Henrique Pinheiro managed to make a qualified save. Arrotea's players were relieved. After 75 played minutes Arrotea got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Delgado. The audience thought a goal was coming when Diamantino Moniz got free with Henrique Pinheiro in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 78th match minute, Gondenhais was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Gaspar to maneuver through the defense. Alfredo Gaspar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henrique Pinheiro having to interfere. Henrique Pinheiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Diamantino Moniz in the 88th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Arrotea's zone, Diamantino Moniz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henrique Pinheiro came out of the goal and Diamantino Moniz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Gondenhais booed when Arrotea was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eusébio Trindade didn't get a good kick on the ball.
