Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Emanuel Neto started the match with the kick off. When Daniel Cardoso came up free with the goalie in the 2nd minute, the Medroes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Cardoso couldn't finish the play. Joel Moreira's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Alberto Gueifão firmly grabbed it by the left post. Nuno Leão kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. After some careless play in the SC Avilhoso defense, Cândido Valente kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of João Nogueira. The SC Avilhoso fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that João Nogueira should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Medroes's António Neves got a free kick in the 21st minute. 23 minutes in the game Joel Fonseca got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. Cândido Valente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alberto Gueifão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Neto in the 32nd minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Emanuel Neto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alberto Gueifão. Medroes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emanuel Neto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Alberto Gueifão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Neto in the 37th minute of the match. Alberto Gueifão was a little too slow when Emanuel Neto got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 39th minute. The score was now 2-2. Joel Moreira might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alberto Gueifão. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joel Moreira ran back to his position shaking his head. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Pedro Abreu's late challenge caught a SC Avilhoso's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pedro Abreu helped the player get up and apologised. After 55 played minutes Medroes got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Abreu. In the 56th minute Emanuel Neto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Gueifão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emanuel Neto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Alberto Gueifão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Neto in the 60th minute of play forced Medroes's goalkeeper Alberto Gueifão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Cardoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. João Nogueira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SC Avilhoso's João Nogueira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save SC Avilhoso from getting a goal against them. Cândido Valente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 72 played minutes SC Avilhoso got a freekick which was hit by Albertino Lima. Alberto Gueifão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Moreira in the 77th minute of play. When Nuno Leão was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 77 minutes had been played. Nuno Leão kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Alberto Gueifão came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by SC Avilhoso's Emanuel Neto. But to his dismay, Emanuel Neto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Paulo Nunes hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Cândido Valente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Emanuel Neto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th match minute, SC Avilhoso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Neto to maneuver through the defense. SC Avilhoso's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
