Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Emílio Simões got the match started through his kick off. A collision led to Rodas getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Hélder Cabral hit a great ball. Mário Martins recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rui Porto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mário Martins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 5th minute, Bernardo Miranda made a precise shot to the right of Fernando Cardoso. SC Percinheira's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 8th minute Emílio Simões shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Cardoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 9 played minutes SC Percinheira got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Fontes. Rui Porto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mário Martins in the 14th minute of play. In the 15th minute Daniel Gueifão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rui Porto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emílio Simões received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Fernando Cardoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fernando Cardoso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bernardo Miranda in the 23rd minute. Cláudio Tavares hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. The supporters of SC Percinheira booed when Rodas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Alves didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rd minute, Nuno Jesus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fernando Cardoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emílio Simões in the 34th minute of the match. Fernando Cardoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Emílio Simões had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in SC Percinheira's zone, Emílio Simões stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernando Cardoso came out of the goal and Emílio Simões tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Gueifão to strike the kick off in the second half. Bernardo Miranda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Fernando Cardoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 56 minutes into the game, Bernardo Miranda cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Fernando Cardoso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Miranda in the 60th minute of play forced SC Percinheira's goalkeeper Fernando Cardoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mário Martins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Rui Porto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rodas's defense didn't have a chance, in the 89th minute, when Daniel Gueifão scored to the left of an out of position Rui Porto, making the score, 2-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the SC Percinheira players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Rodas.
