Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Armando Ramos started the match with the kick off. Luís Bessa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedro Macedo came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Verdugal's Pedro Pereira. But to his dismay, Pedro Pereira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. André Santarém received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. João Castro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Armando Ramos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Armando Ramos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luís Bessa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. João Castro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luís Bessa might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over João Castro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luís Bessa ran back to his position shaking his head. 44 minutes into the match, Armando Ramos notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Marialva's Pedro Macedo. Pedro Macedo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luís Bessa to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luís Bessa in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg João Castro saved Verdugal from getting behind. 54 minutes into the match, Marialva's goalkeeper Pedro Macedo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jorge Lisboa. Jorge Lisboa hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Armando Ramos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Pedro Macedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. João Castro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Bessa in the 71st minute of play. André Santarém received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. When Jorge Soares fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Marialva's protests and gave Jorge Soares a yellow card for diving instead. In the 84th minute, Jorge Soares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jorge Lisboa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Macedo having to interfere. Armando Ramos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
