Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Armando Ramos took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 5th minute, Armando Ramos fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 10thth minute of the game Joaquim Garcia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Verdugal's João Castro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 12 minutes into the game, Viriato Nunes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dianteiro FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Verdugal the free kick. After 12 played minutes Dianteiro FC got a freekick which was hit by Viriato Nunes. In the 13th minute, André Aguiar sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Dianteiro FC's Manuel Luz didn't even have to move. Jorge Lisboa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Manuel Luz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Jorge Lisboa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Verdugal's supporters rose to their feet, but Jorge Lisboa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manuel Luz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Manuel Luz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armando Ramos in the 22nd minute of play. A collision led to Dianteiro FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Joaquim Garcia hit a great ball. If Armando Ramos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jorge Lisboa got free with Manuel Luz in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Joaquim Garcia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. João Castro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joaquim Garcia to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Verdugal's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquim Garcia came free, but João Castro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alexandre Campos charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alexandre Campos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When António Marques fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Verdugal's protests and gave António Marques a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Dianteiro FC booed when Verdugal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. António Marques didn't get a good kick on the ball. Viriato Nunes hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Verdugal's Afonso Luz got a free kick in the 76th minute. Luís Vieira was extremely unlucky when he, in the 81st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Manuel Luz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pedro Pereira went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Verdugal's João Castro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Verdugal from getting a goal against them. Alexandre Campos kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
