Joaquim Castro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After a rather tough play, Campea FC's José Delgado got a free kick in the 12th minute. After having played for 13 minutes, Rogério Aguiar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rebordosa FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rogério Aguiar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Emílio Marques hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Rebordosa FC's Afonso Antunes got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 20 minutes of play, Rebordosa FC's Afonso Antunes made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joaquim Castro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Afonso Antunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Campea FC's Joaquim Castro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Afonso Antunes in the 32nd minute of play. Sérgio Guarda could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Carlos Aleixo made a huge save. Campea FC's Amadeu Valente was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Carlos Aleixo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Paulo Sousa kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. If Amadeu Valente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Joaquim Castro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afonso Antunes, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Campea FC's goalkeeper Joaquim Castro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fernando Morais to strike the kick off in the second half. The Rebordosa FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After a defensive mix-up in Campea FC's zone, Rogério Aguiar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquim Castro came out of the goal and Rogério Aguiar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 68 played minutes Campea FC got a freekick which was hit by Joaquim Henriques. Joaquim Castro made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Afonso Antunes sent off a good shot on target. In the 71stth minute of the game Sérgio Guarda who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rebordosa FC's Carlos Aleixo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Joaquim Castro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rogério Aguiar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Campea FC's Sérgio Guarda in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rebordosa FC's goalie prevented a goal. Carlos Aleixo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fernando Morais's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. Rebordosa FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
