Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Alexandre Marques got the match started through his kick off. Brenha FC's Paulo Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandre Marques in the 4th minute of play. In the 6th minute, Alexandre Marques got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 11 played minutes Brenha FC got a freekick which was hit by Artur Viana. Paulo Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Leal in the 15th minute of play. In the 21st minute Domingos Martins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulo Cunha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandre Marques, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. When Brenha FC's Diamantino Ramos in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Sismarias's goalie prevented a goal. In the 37th minute of the match, Filipe Esteves got a very nice opportunity to score, but Rui Baptista was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a defensive mix-up in SC Sismarias's zone, Diamantino Ramos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rui Baptista came out of the goal and Diamantino Ramos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jorge Leal's late challenge caught a Brenha FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jorge Leal helped the player get up and apologised. After 40 played minutes SC Sismarias got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Leal. After 41 minutes, Vasco Sá mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Sismarias and the Brenha FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 41st minute, one of SC Sismarias:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SC Sismarias. Mário Pinto placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! A collision led to SC Sismarias getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Artur Martins hit a great ball. If Bernardo Leiria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Diamantino Ramos made a kick off. The Brenha FC fans' excitement grew in the 55th match minute when Brenha FC's Diamantino Ramos looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Sebastião Neves fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Sismarias's protests and gave Sebastião Neves a yellow card for diving instead. Diamantino Ramos hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexandre Marques in the 64th minute of play forced Brenha FC's goalkeeper Paulo Cunha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Artur Viana charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Artur Viana the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Brenha FC's Artur Viana got his second yellow card of the match in the 67th minute. The referee ordered Artur Viana off the ground. The supporters of SC Sismarias booed when Brenha FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardo Leiria didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alexandre Marques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Domingos Martins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th minute Alexandre Marques shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 78 minutes, Filipe Esteves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brenha FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filipe Esteves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Paulo Cunha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 84 minutes into the match, Brenha FC's Filipe Esteves sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rui Baptista narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 84 minutes into the game, Filipe Esteves cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. The Brenha FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while SC Sismarias had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
