Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Afonso Freitas in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rui Baptista prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 8th minute, Afonso Freitas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lamoso fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Lourenço Cabral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexandre Marques in the 13th minute of the match. In the 15th minute Afonso Freitas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rui Baptista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joaquim Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rui Baptista having to interfere. Rui Baptista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquim Lima in the 20th minute of play. Armindo Moreira's late challenge caught a SC Sismarias's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Armindo Moreira helped the player get up and apologised. In the 24th match minute, Lamoso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armindo Moreira to maneuver through the defense. The wind increased when Joaquim Lima made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Lamoso booed when SC Sismarias was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Leal didn't get a good kick on the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Lamoso's Catarino Baptista broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Rui Baptista had great luck who in the 62ndth minute grab hold of the ball when Joaquim Lima from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. 64 minutes into the game, Rui Torres was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lamoso's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Sismarias the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 64th minute of the game. One of Lamoso:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of SC Sismarias:s goal. Lourenço Cabral stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Domingos Martins's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. If Alexandre Marques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jorge Leal hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. With his leg Rui Baptista managed to avoid a goal in the 86thth minute, when Lamoso's Afonso Freitas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. SC Sismarias's Rui Baptista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquim Lima in the 87th minute of play. Lourenço Cabral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandre Marques, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joaquim Lima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 91 played minutes SC Sismarias got a freekick which was hit by Alexandre Miranda. Afonso Freitas took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rui Baptista. Rui Baptista dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. 3-3 became the score in the 98th minute when Joaquim Lima elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
