The score was now 1-0. Armando Delgado kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Alexandre Magalhães took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Amadeu Sá. SC Picao's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Hélder Ramos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Amadeu Sá showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armindo Sousa, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. When Emanuel Brito fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Trisio's protests and gave Emanuel Brito a yellow card for diving instead. 18 minutes into the game, Manuel Brás was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Trisio's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Picao the free kick. In the 17th minute, one of SC Trisio:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SC Trisio. When Cristiano Trindade fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Picao's protests and gave Cristiano Trindade a yellow card for diving instead. In the 26th minute, one of SC Picao:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SC Picao. Amadeu Sá had in the 27thth minute some difficulties stopping Alexandre Magalhães's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Armindo Sousa struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Amadeu Sá didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Trisio. If Armindo Sousa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hélder Ramos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Lourenço Freitas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Armindo Sousa struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Amadeu Sá didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Trisio. After 44 minutes, Armando Delgado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Picao and the SC Trisio players grew even worse after the yellow card. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lourenço Freitas was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, SC Picao's Amadeu Sá got control of the ball when Hélder Ramos tried to sneak it across the goal line. SC Picao's Amadeu Sá played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armindo Sousa in the 55th minute of play. Alexandre Alves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Ribeiro having to interfere. 58 minutes into the match, SC Picao's goal looked a bit too open when Armindo Sousa came free, but Amadeu Sá reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paulo Ribeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lourenço Freitas, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. After having played for 65 minutes, Lourenço Freitas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Picao's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lourenço Freitas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 81st minute Lourenço Freitas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Ribeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in SC Picao's zone, Hélder Ramos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amadeu Sá came out of the goal and Hélder Ramos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hélder Ramos might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Amadeu Sá. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hélder Ramos ran back to his position shaking his head. Hélder Ramos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute Armindo Sousa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amadeu Sá saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amadeu Sá stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Armindo Sousa's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. When Duarte Macedo fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Picao's protests and gave Duarte Macedo a yellow card for diving instead. Duarte Macedo kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. SC Picao's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
