Condados FC's David Carvalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugo Cunha in the 4th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Américo Carvalho put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of David Carvalho. 15 minutes into the match, Condados FC's goal looked a bit too open when Américo Carvalho came free, but David Carvalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Álvaro Cardoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marco Abreu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastião Borges in the 21st minute of play. In the 23rd match minute, Avoes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hélder Nascimento to maneuver through the defense. Álvaro Cardoso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Marco Abreu made a huge save. A collision led to Condados FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Joaquim Esteves hit a great ball. Marco Abreu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastião Borges, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Hugo Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Carvalho having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hugo Cunha in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg David Carvalho saved Condados FC from getting behind. A collision led to Avoes getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Joel Paiva hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When Álvaro Cardoso came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Condados FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Álvaro Cardoso couldn't finish the play. Sebastião Borges sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Américo Carvalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. David Carvalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Álvaro Cardoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joel Baptista during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Condados FC's Joel Baptista got a free kick in the 78th minute. In the 80th minute, Sebastião Borges got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marco Abreu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastião Borges in the 84th minute of the match. Avoes had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
