Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Sérgio Paiva kicked off to start the match. Hugo Cunha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Paulo Guerreiro hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. When Paulo Guerreiro fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sardoura FC's protests and gave Paulo Guerreiro a yellow card for diving instead. After 17 played minutes Sardoura FC got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Guerreiro. Paulo Guerreiro kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Américo Carvalho who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 19thth minute tested the skills of André Faria when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After having played for 23 minutes, Sérgio Paiva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sardoura FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sérgio Paiva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Sardoura FC's Sérgio Paiva in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Avoes's goalie prevented a goal. Avoes's Américo Carvalho got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jorge Pinto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hélder Nascimento kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Avoes's Marco Abreu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sérgio Paiva in the 46th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
53 minutes into the match, Sardoura FC's goal looked a bit too open when Américo Carvalho came free, but André Faria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 63 played minutes Sardoura FC got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Moniz. If Hugo Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rd minute, Jorge Pinto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marco Abreu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Hugo Cunha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 96th minute by Sérgio Paiva got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
